Hey, I'm Meghan!

My books are set in wide-open places — mountain towns, cherry orchards, and the kind of summer that rewires your whole heart. I believe in slow burns, fast horses, and love stories that make you ugly-cry at 2am.

Growing up in Colorado, I fell in love with nature, animals, and the kind of stories where everything feels possible. I wanted to write the books I was desperately searching for as a teenager — ones that felt real, romantic, and a little bit wild.

When I'm not writing, you'll find me riding horses, working on the ranch, going for a walk, or drinking an embarrassing amount of coffee. Here's me and my hubby many years ago. We were riding Rocky Mountain Gaited Horses in Missouri. I spent many days training these and Thoroughbreds. Today I have two Quarter Horses and take care of several others.
